Thanks! I was not here for tourism. I am here under Family Reunification to be with my Canadian spouse. That is very different. But I do believe that being physically present in Canada worked favorably in my case.

I did that back when I arrived in July. I can see that my address on file is my Canadian address according to my GCMS notes, so I am hoping that they do indeed finalize my application since I don't have to travel.

FSW-O here (original details in signature), got an update on my account today to show that my medicals were re-assessed and approved and went from showing "You do not need a medical exam" for months to "You passed the medical exam" this morning. Fingers crossed that this is a good sign I hope?

my medical exam status also changed. guess that means I'll have to call on Monday  I wish they would notify us of whether they have extended it or not without us having to send in more webforms or make more calls.

    A39-A41 Non-compliance: should I be concerned?

We are not submitting a spousal sponsorship at this time. I understand that my marital status won't affect my application; my question was simply about the non-compliance section on GCMS notes.

I see. What I meant by my response was that I am here legally as a visitor and can provide that information to IRCC should they need it, but it sounds like I don't have to prove anything according to your earlier response.

thank you legalfalcon! My husband and I were so stressed. They had asked me for proof of my passport stamp to show I entered Canada legally (in order to process the GCMS notes under ATIP), so I'll assume that nothing further needs to be done then

    A39-A41 Non-compliance: should I be concerned?

I have an in-progress PR application and was told by the Canadian border officer that I must notify IRCC of my change in marital status, hence my webform to them. He had also advised me to just wait on my current application and not submit a spousal sponsorship at this point due to the...
