Hi! I am in a similar boat. Are you saying that the person being sponsored could apply for an open work permit even for outland sponsorship? (I thought it has to be inland, meaning the person being sponsored has to live in Canada when the sponsorship application is submitted) Thanks!!

Hi, Don't worry. I missed four calls from Service Canada within two days last week, but they called me a 5th time, and I finally picked it up... So you don't have to worry, they will for sure call you again, just try your best not to miss any calls from now on. Good luck!
