aor 30 oct 2020. FSW -inland Eligibility: passed march 2021 Medicals: extended till oct 2022 Security: not started Background check: in process since july 2021 I called ircc last week and background is still in process. Anything i should be worried about? I is this normal? Anyone in the same boat?

So i just visited the TR to PR canadavisa forum. Looks like after aor, it is hardly taking 1.5 months for them to get portal email amd already so many of them are getting PR. i am frustrated cause i could apply in that stream but i didn’t. My reason was that my eligibility had already passed on...

Exactly one year from the date you had your medicals done. For example, if you had done medicals on 10 sep 2020, it would’ve expired in 10 September 2021. It does not have any connection with your Aor or the medicals passed update on your profile.

Same here. I just applied gcms notes and got an automatic reply saying 'we have shifted our resources to Afghan situation' which is understandable. But what I feel is that first Covid and now this, seems like they have found another excuse to delay the applications.

Hi oct 30 aor. Medicals passed on march 17. Dead silence from ircc. Contacted them via my local MP and only eligibility was ‘finalised’. Now my medicals are expiring on sep 3. Any hopes for receiving ppr soon for me or i just keep sleeping on it?
