Guys calm down This was an exceptional draw because of french speaking candidates. Even the ones at 448 got selected as they jumped to 478 A huge percentage of express entry invites im guessing more than 65 percent is taken up by indian and chinese nationals and they are not proficient at...

Guys I have a question. I want to modify the job title a bit after i received the invite from ontario. I have been working with my company for 14 years so one job title wont work. Need to add another title as well. Plus modify the original one on the profile. I have read on forums that job...

What does this mean? Once you are being assessed its not about conversion rates. If you submit all the documents why shouldnt they nominate you. Its not about numbers once you get invited man.

One thing that i dont understand is the consistency of 471 plus folks. How can we get pretty much the same number of people every 2 weeks. Shouldnt it go down sometimes by 500 or more. Just doesnt make sense how every day hundreds of people enter with 470s. Maybe im missing something

468 is possible if draws keep happening very 2 weeks. I would say another 3 to 4 draws if all goes well. Definitely get the ielts done for your spouse. Even if she gets 5 or thereabouts u can get 4 or more points which will get you through.

No confirmation on whether the target would be higher. That will be confirmed later this month

I have my doubts. 469 seems tough right now. Look at the pre pandemic draws in Jan and Feb. All 473,471,472 It went down to 470 when 4500 were invited in a single draw. I think we are back at full speed. For someone like me with 468 its tough out there. The good news is fsw is back for good...

The only worrying thing is rising covid cases. Canada is reporting record daily increase now. That is the only way CECs can resume although it didnt make sense in the first place as the length of time between an ITA and PR is significant.

Thats exactly right. For all the loyalty and toiling around in canada, CECs are being preferred clearly through extra points for the same experience and education. I would have had 500 points if i was a CEC candidate. Bottom line is rhe FSW is fair for everyone.

Interesting comments there. This is the reason i feel like fsws are here to stay till the rest of the year. They cannot achieve the target with inland/cec candidates. Based on the last 2 draws i think octobers letter would be favoring immigration. The minister has already stated that they are...

As much as i want it, with 5555 nominations already given im not so sure. Seems like tech draws are done for this year. If the next draw is an fsw at 469 it might allow many pnps to withdraw the nominations. That may open up a window.
