I'm on the same boat. I got the approval letter on December 30th and created a portal, uploaded my info and photo on the same day. It's been 2 weeks and no eCoPR. I have sent emails to the portal email address two times but no answer. Don't know what else I could do either.

Thanks for your answer! Do you mean that if I come back to Canada within a few weeks after I get the portal email, I can just confirm my presence in Canada as if I never left Canada?
