Yes, you can go to any Service Canada or apply online. Online takes a few days to arrive but if your documents are not correct they won't let you know. So if you have the time to go to an office is better.

yeah, I think my application is not complicated too. I applied for BOPW and got it a year-long, so I'm thinking that means it is going to take some time. A friend got it for only 6 months and got the PR. So I'm guessing it has to do with how long is the BOWP too. Kind of frustrating.

I'm not sure about it being accurate. It looks like it changes every week. I am supposed to be in that September week. If there is anything moving on my profile I will update you, for now, it has been the same for months.
