When I get my refugee travel documents, do I need a visa to go to South Africa ?.and also my passport was seized by the USA , but since I’m in Canada do I also need to get new passport from my embassy or I should use my RTD to travel only ??

I went for my hearing March 2020 and on that day the member said I was accepted and I got the status of a protected person , he said it verbally and also said congratulations. But I’ve not got any letter of decision since March. if I may ask how long does it take or is it because of the pandemic??.
