Question regrding COPR: I got the COPR number in portal on last Friday but haven’t got the COPR letter yet. My SIN is expiring on end of this month. Will I be able to renew my SIN with virtual COPR number or I need the COPR letter. My employer is gonna ask me for my new SIN. What should I do...

If you came to Toronto first then it should be toronto. I had to apply for my work permit extension this month so, i gave my recent arrival date and location was pearson so, its toronto. I don’t know about original entry date. My guess is they are asking about your first arrival date.

Did you get your COPR? How ling did it take after approval?

Email your vo. They will send you COPR. Sometime you just have to remind them to issue it.

I guess it started in2nd week of April. When i called ircc in first week of April. My eligibility was recommended pass and Security was not initiated then. So, my gues is it took a week or less to get it done.

Finally by the grace of Almighty my file is approved. Aor sept. 1st Background check done end of February. Eligibility and security done on 16th April. File approved April 22. Haven’t got the COPR email yet. Best of luck everyone.
