Not going to happen. There will be no PPRs released in big volumes. They will release them at the same rate as before. Expect long backlogs and waiting times like in the United States. It wont make sense to release so many PPRs during an economic recovery.

Not being pessimistic but bulk copr seems unlikely due to the extreme restrictionist policies of the government to keep most foreigners out. I am expecting a careful approach with less pprs and huge backlogs until a vaccine is out. Thats just my speculation based on current trend with recurrent...

@legalfalcon are there any possibilities ircc is going to issue ppr to outland fsw applicants this year or there is going to be a waiting till till a vaccine is out. Is it better now to make alternate plans and drop immigration to Canada as of now for the current year?

I am too. Nov 9 aor. Gcms notes show application approved on 20th march and passport request ppr was generated but not sent. Still waiting.

Has anyone received the intent to travel email from IRCC? What does that email contain?

Yes page 2 shows approved. Further there is a whole section on copr and counterfoil both of which was generated on 20 th march. For my son who is US citizen it only shows copr. I am surprised that they did not send it out yet.

i have the same in my GCMS notes. The status not starter had to change. My copr and counterfoil is generated and page 2 of gcmsnotes shows approved on 20th march 2020. I am nov 9 aor and fsw US bases applicant. I guess its just going to be a long long wait fot some of us.

Just filled in the survey. Looks like they are working on taking a decision on Outland applicants. At the end of the survey it said you might be contacted for an interview. That’s pretty unusual for a survey.

I hope you have seen the latest update. The normal processing of applications (in person) is likely to begin starting July. IRCC recently updated their COVID page. The restrictions are only until 30th June 2020 for limited processing...
