I am not sure about the Softlanding and returning back the same day to US. I would say , you can call the border agency you wish to cross and ask them. They will definitely guide you based on the COVID rules they are following.

No, I didn’t contact them. I got COPR on Jan 2020 . I just travelled. Borders are open for PR and citizens.

You can do the soft landing and return back to US the same or you can come back after your 14 days of quarantine . I moved permanently but came to US after the quarantine period.

Am planning to complete my landing and return back to US the same day. Am doing 2nd masters and on Day 1 CPT. If I return the same day do I get the SIN number the same day ? Any inputs from the members.

So no questions about expired visa ? do they even check the passport ?

Hello Guys , I am on F1-CPT and with expired Visa, I have read in the above comments that some of them returned back to US using AVR after the soft landing. Any one has experience coming back via road ? Also what are the precautions to take.
