I think so. I got two requests for photos last year, so I sent them twice. 1st to Ottawa and 2nd to Winnipeg. I’m not sure which set they are actually processing

I got an AOR letter for my PR card today. Says they received on June 29th 2020 and a ghost update yesterday. Does that mean it’s being sent for printing or they just sending me a BS letter to try to keep me happy?

I’m the same. 29th June 2020. With Covid, I actually got two requests for photos last year. I sent the ones to Ottawa in March with my PPR letter and a new set to Winnipeg in June following my landing, when they asked for them again. Not sure which ones they’re using

The guy just called me - private number. Asked me to confirm I was currently in Canada, then said my profile would updated with the approval letter straight away and it was. He didn’t ask for any personal info, just introduced himself and said he was from IRCC in Edmonton.

I’m an in country applicant and nothing since medicals passed in October on my profile. Received PPR on March 12th, but profile was never updated

In my experience they can’t tell you anything useful, so not really any purpose in calling. Was a waste of my time!

Unfortunately I think we’re a relatively small number of people who are also now all over the six months. My cynicism says if they focus on newer applications, it helps the 80% within six months metric. What I don’t get that when PPR is sent, all checks are complete. So why can’t they mass...
