Hi guys, I'm wondering if you kind people out there have advice on items you need soon after arrival in Canada, but which you should not necessarily bring with you from wherever you're arriving from. I'm thinking winter clothes, furniture . . . but what else? Any tips? Cheers!

Quebec immigration takes forever and has very different criteria, with much more emphasis on French. I was like the OP, living and working in Montreal, eligible for CEC and FSW but not eligible for Quebec immigration. I ended up learning French and getting lucky with an LMIA to get the work...

Which services are they selling you / us? If you find any service they sell direct to consumer, I will give you a million dollars.
