y yes, you do need it for the ceremony. if your card is lost or stolen, the oath letter will have instructions for you. (you will just need to email them the IMM5451 form)

Hi everyone, those who applied in Vancouver & requested paper certificate, how long did it take to receive the certificate after the ceremony?

Looks like I'm in the same boat, just received and email for the e-certificate, but I selected paper option when was applying. No oath letter or date yet either. Are you planning to ask for a paper certificate instead?
