Thanks for your reply. My only concern is that boyfriend might not be considered spousal and if they doubt my intent to settle in Alberta. They might think that i would like to settle with him in Toronto, which is actually not the case but how to prove my intent.

I sent them an email on 21st Jan. very same day I received the payment link from VFS. The webform started this month i believe.

Sharing my experience for everyone's benefit. I submitted my passport on 7th December for stamping and it came back without stamp and COPR and no explanation on 15th Jan. I resent it again on 25th Jan and received stamped passport and COPR today i.e. 2nd Feb 2021.

Hi for the benefit of everyone sharing my experience. My passport was returned without stamp and I resent it for stamping. This time it came stamped along with COPR within 2 days. It must have been officer's oversight at first.
