Stay strong folks! My friends who applied on Dec. 6 got approval on April 2nd and one who applied on Dec. 20 got approval on April 9. Both had biometrics done a year ago. If anybody got approval for application after Dec. 20, please let us know!

I applied on Jan 2 and it has been showing that they are processing it and reviewing my eligibility since Day 1! Approval for candidates in December and January gives hope and relief though I'm done refreshing my mailbox and checking my account daily!

Just wanted to let you guys know that my friend who applied on December 6 got mail today that his application was approved and the doc has been dispatched. He already had his biometric done a year ago. That's a bit of relief from the CIC! Don't lose hope guys!

Yep, same with me as well! I couldn't even get hired for a part-time. Rejected by Walmart and McDonalds stating that my study permit expires in less than 90 days. Unemployed, ran out of GIC, hit by the Corona crisis and got no option.

This is real cruelty! It's taking more than 120 days right now and in this worst time, we can't even work! I was rejected twice by 2 employers giving me the reason that my study permit is expiring in less than 90 days. Also, I'm concerned about what the fate of my application is! In just 3 days...
