We should be fine. As long as it has been received, I was told, we are on an implied status. I did apply online to extend my stay: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/extend-stay/apply.html

I do have UCI, but I did not include the cover letter explaining the whole situation. I have just applied online to extend my stay, but the application for sponsorship and OWP was mailed out yesterday. What options do I have now? Is there any way I can contact them and let them know?

Can someone give me an advice please? So we sent the application + OWP yesterday. It is supposed to be delivered on the 6th of April (Monday). My status expires on the 10th of April. For some reason I thought that if my application makes it by then I'm fine, but now I hear they must start...

Thanks for letting me know! How do I know if I am on implied status then? How do I know when they actually start looking at my profile? How long does it usually take for them to start dealing with an application after receiving it?

I think I will. I just thought you need to do it at least 30 days before your status expires. And I only have days now...

We have sent out our Application (Common-Law Sponsorship + OWP) today by UPS. It should get there on Monday. My status in Canada expires April 10th, so I hope it gets received by then.
