Did anyone get a PPR after the strike (April 19)?

Are visa offices outside Canada participating in the strike? Can we expect a PPR if the file is processed in an immigration office outside Canada?

I just asked to discuss topics like housing and healthcare in their prospective threads. What does this have to do with freedom of speech ?!

You are just looking to follow the herd. I understand your anger as a “champion member” who just want any topic to talk about.

@mushymush @ImpatientKangaroo It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that my discussion about housing was nothing more than sarcastic

We have a similar case like China, apparently the forex market is free, but in reality the central bank is firmly controlling the exchange rate.

Indeed, they are currently building a new capital :D and that's why I invest in new cities only. Even if the prices will not go up in old Cairo, it will remain constant at least. In our culture, real-estate is as secure as gold. In the last 7 decades, the country suffered from wars, many...

I agree with you that the value doesn't matter if one is going to live in the property, but it might be a good idea to wait if the bubble is real. In my county, the property is gaining around 10% nominally and a bit higher in real value, apart from the 5% rental income. But again, as long as the...

I think that a dumbass is someone who waste his time to post 2000+ messages on an online forum, because this implies that he has nothing else in his life (study/business/family) to make him busy.

Thanks for all inputs. Actually, I have a question related to housing that I can't find an easy answer to. In Egypt, we consider real-estate as the safest investment that always goes up and whatever the circumstances are, housing prices NEVER go down. So my question is, do housing prices go up...

Since I am interested in investment, and members here like discussing housing topics, I'd like to share some thoughts here, hoping that someone could bring some valuable insights. Firstly, I hope to be able to move to Canada within 3 years (excepting an invitation from Quebec soon, FSW score...

Not having any updates, doesn't mean that people could post anything which is irrelevant. If so, personally I am interested in discussing topics like entrepreneurship, cryptocurrencies, engineering and personal investment. If you find these out of the scope of this thread, Also I feel the same...

My last visit to this thread was yesterday. Today, I found around 30 new pages, I hoped to find some read-worthy discussions about the FSW, but unfortunately most of the discussions were irrelevant to this thread's topic. Just much ado about nothing! I believe that the visitors to this thread...

EE draws won't resume until May 2022!

I agree with you, it doesn't matter 100K persons or applications. With the current processing rate, they will not resume FSW draws before Sep/Oct 2022. Maybe they would be able to process more applications, but the risk of a new Covid outbreak that forces them to work from home again is still...

EE draws won't resume until May 2022!

It took 57 days to decrease the EE backlog size by 8500 applications (i.e 4500 applications per month) So to bring the 100K backlog to 50%, they need around 11 months to achieve this, assuming they keep the same pace of processing. Am I missing something?

EE draws won't resume until May 2022!

Are you assuming that there are two persons per application? Is it a backlog of 100K persons or 100K applications?
