Exactly on the same boat..lol. I just saw the application got closed so hoping sometime next week we should be getting our certificates.

lol thank you so much.. i am a bit relieved. I was thinking my application got side-tracked again or sth and then knowing how delayed it can get I was a little stressed. This journey has been super stressful from the start to the finish

I sent it to the one on the form and also a cc to the one where they emailed from after completing the oath. they were the same email address. i am just hoping everything is good and they forgot to update the tracker.

Hello everyone. I had my oath on the August 23rd as well. My tracker did not get updated and seeing the messages here I am worried as to what might happen. I send the form back and they acknowledged receipt of the email but that's it. Anyone else on the same boat as me

I got an update on the tracker saying that I have been scheduled for oath on august 23rd :) finally .. still hoping nothing changes between now and then

Exactly.. Mine was completed and DM on January 25th of this year. Nothing till date.. It actually makes me even mad knowing those who applied from ottawa even last August have already gotten their oath done and I am waiting since August 2020

I did.. to my MP 2 months ago I needed to go home for my ailing father, he passed away I couldnt go. The office just gives a generic reply and passes on the same information I got from my tracker. Told me to wait till its been 27 months.

Similar ..my application had decision made and everything completed on January 25th..did my citizenship test on jan 5. No oath nothing. Ottawa office.

Anyone else who applied in 2020 and still waiting for Oath after taking the citizenship test. I have been waiting since January, sometimes I actually wonder whether they lost my application.

I think we will be next. They do it in batches. So hopefully all those who got DM in January will be up next. Fingers crossed. Super happy for all the people who got oath invitation! :)

I actually think they probably lost our files when they were working from home or sth. Otherwise why the delay... people in 2021 applied and even those who applied in June of 2021 got their passports. I applied in August 2020 so i have little reason to complain when I see your application not...

Exactly on the same boat. I cant take this anymore especially when you see people who applied last year (March 2021) getting their oaths done. They should hire us to do all these applications we know the pain and suffering and I know we will do a better job.

Which city? I am from Ottawa and I though getting the test invite in January for my 2020 August application was late ...it actually sucks xoz I know ppl who applied in January of last year who already got oath.

Same here. I got the test completed in janaury and dm on the 25th of Jan. August 2020 applicant from Ottawa as well. .I can't imagine how waiting for seven months after the test would feel like. I keep hoping everytime I check the tracker that today will be the day.

Congratulations!!!.... I took the test in January too.. I would be elated if I get scheduled for Oath this time around.. othwerwise hopefully it will be very soon. :)
