    Yes this can be only the reason. Ask employer about this . Did u left ur job with good terms with ur employer or just left it without giving him any notice

    Im from ontario but how fast u will get copr is on your local visa office I got it from london office and they are still using old school method like calling applicant and then sending copr via email.
