Hi, My sister has visited Canada several times in the past. Her biometric information is valid until 2027 and she received a letter confirming this. She received also a letter approving the VISA application (I guess) stating: "This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A...

submitted Arabic exit/entry stamps on passports in mississauga office.

Hi, Just from my experience: If you go to a certified translator (at least the one I went to in Mississauga), you don't need to do any of steps 1-3. The translator copied the whole passport in clearly, attached a table of contents at the beginning with summary of the stamps, put the whole thing...

    Time to say goodbye

I know I said I won't post but I really really couldn't prevent myself. mia culpa :-* Then prepare to live under literally insane feds after Oct 2015 (if you live in NB it'll be this September). Live with it: the Harper years helped people like you to emerge from anonymity holes. (I don't...

    Time to say goodbye

First @ keesio South Korea was a military dictatorship until 1987, which is a imho a hard-core conservative if you want to count them as cons. The former dictator who was killed around 1980 built almost all infrastructure used in the country today. I also voted con before and would do it again...

    Time to say goodbye

No you are not a racist. In the bast case you are an ignorant libertarian, in the worst case you are an idiot who believes that a society like the Canadian can function without taxes and that these taxes don't increase. The second bolded makes me believe you are the latter: it does not affect...

    Getting Married before Landing

Ok, then he has to wait till he gets his citizenship to try again. I hope at it is permitted then at least. I know that rules and regulation usually make sense and one should know and follow them, but such non essential cases (he didn't get any advantages of not informing except of some time...

    Getting Married before Landing

Assuming there aren't any notes about his marriage by the officer and thus the CIC doesn't know about it. Can't they simply get a divorce and then remarry again, so he can sponsor his wife with a post landing marriage date?

Is it required to have stamps in passport not in English or French translated?

Hi, Some countries (like my own) have a note on the new passport stating that it replaces an older passport with the no. and other info about the older one. Other countries allow you to extend the current passports past the expiration date in some cases. They also add a note to the passport...

Is it required to have stamps in passport not in English or French translated?

The officer in our interview explicitly asked for the (certified) translation of any non English/French stamps in our passports. The translations were the only documents he actually looked at and kept after the test. If your application is else ok and you are only missing the stamp...

is it OK or not ???

Agree about the first part. As for the second, you don't need to be surprised. Going after PR's not fulfilling RO requirements is too complicated to explain and not a sexy enough subject to utilize in an election year as doing something against those "fraud" citizenship applicants.
