    I think its strange because the CIC listed certain professions to be assessed as professional degrees and law is one of them. My law degree also came out as a first professional degree in law

    "Master degree" wasn't literally stated in the report. But with Raja's explanation which I further verified, all first professional degrees are equivalent to Masters degree.

    I'm not certain but I submitted my application on 10/11/2019. Documents got delivered to IQAS on 13/12/2019. By 17/03/2020 IQAS acknowledged receipt of my transcript via email and my my profile now reads "in line for processing".
