Had an in-person oath ceremony scheduled in Mississauga (50 minute Uber ride from where we live) for today, but too ill with the flu to get through it. Such a disappointment because it would have been fine if it was virtual or at least in Toronto. :( Hopefully getting a new date doesn’t take...

Congratulations! Was your guest able to wait at IRCC for the ceremony to start or was there a different arrival time for the guests?

Update on May 6th: Oath Ceremony changed to In Progress, scheduled for May 24th. :)

Our landing interview was scheduled for this Saturday in Ottawa, but my husband got an email last week saying it would be rescheduled. No other news yet.

Oh totally- I can't wait until it's all over and we can celebrate fully! I'm trying to remind myself that at the outset we were prepared for it to take 12 months... sometimes that works... or not! ;) Sending luck and good thoughts to you!

AHA! Except digging deeper it says if you had a landing appointment booked already, it will be held by telephone. It says you will receive an email confirming the details soon. Phew- ours is booked for March 28th.

We got the invite to the landing interview, which included the instruction to bring "proof of cohabitation." It seems like an Ottawa office thing. I guess just bring bills, ID, etc. with the same address? Anyone else with any experience/advice?
