This is their generic reply , i just got the same email. I raised a webform 5 days ago aswell. But this atleast relieves us of the doubt that our application might have been rejected and it wasn't updated , as i have heard rumors about this happening to people.

They are just reviewing your application, Whether you've submitted all the required documents or not. So you'll just have to wait now. If they'll need anymore documents or want to interview you they will let you know.

I applied on 1st feb, biometrics and medical passed. They didn't contact send any kind of mail to me regarding the delay, i even raised a webform and even all the others who applied in January or feb haven't received any update. Weird man.

Hey saad , i raised a webform at the start , i had to inform them about something in my application. I never got a reply for that. So after that i never raised another form as it was written there that webforms should be submitted only once. Do you get replied through an email or something? And...

It's case based. I know people who got it in 30-32 days , and some got it in under 40 days. For me its exactly been 40 days and no update after the medical exam passed notification.

It doesn't help. They dont respond to webforms i guess. Did you apply on your own or through a consultant?

That's 2 months , i applied on 1st February Biometrics request on 2nd February , biometrics done and submitted on 3rd and medical exam passed on 5th . No updates since. And I've to be in Canada by the end of this month , it's really frustrating at this point.

I tried but they cant help with applications processed outside of canada . Plus i recently a member of Canada visa from lahore got his visa in January , i was in personal contact with him . His application took 36 days so he advised me to be patient for another week.

Oh you have plenty of time, my classes have already started on 2nd march in Toronto that is why im a little worried. The university have given me extra 2-3 weeks to get there , thats really generous of them.

Yeah same i got that one ghost update too, a friend of mine got her passport request in January after 32 days of waiting. I dont know what seems to be taking so long for the decision , clearly that 20 days thing is not true.

Has anyone applied for visa under sds in February? I submitted application on 1st February and biometrics given and confirmed on 3rd February and medical passed on 5th , no updates since 5th. Its a little worrying now because 32 days have passed. Anyone having the same issue?
