Hey all. I finally received my email from Etobicoke-landings today with my COPR confirmation letter. Just like another poster, mine was dated July 9 - which was the date my CIC account was updated as approved. All the best to the rest of you - remain patient, it'll come!

You do need a document to prove status when applying for things like new SIN number, updating drivers license and MSP. So they do need to give you something.

Nope no contact whatsoever besides my profile status changing. COPR expiry is 30th July

I’m at the same point as you - status is approved, have a COPR document number on my portal, but no actual document or official confirmation.

that is frustrating!! why wouldn't they at least include a quick letter explaining what is next for your case.

I am a physiotherapist. Hopefully we hear something soon, I'm just so over the entire process.

I'm patiently/inpatiently waiting. I didn't think giving people a quick phone call and then approving them would take that long? But I think it was only 2 applicants who were approved this way - Monday and Tuesday last week.

Any of the inland crew who sent passport copies get contacted today by IRCC officers? I was hoping, after the 2 last week, there'd be a stream of calls as it is super easy, but it seems not!

A lot of us still waiting, since March, were from countries exempt from sending our physical passport...but yes, we had sent photocopies of our passports.

Any other inland applicants had the direct PR approval and quick phone call to confirm you’re still in Canada... since Monday or Tuesday when there were 2 posted on here??

This exactly!! once PPR is sent, you are basically all but approved. And as far as I know, the case manager who was reviewing your file is done with it, and it is then just a paperwork/printing of CoPR job. Can’t work out why it can’t just be completed.

Appreciate the information, thanks. And completely agree/feel your frustration. The lack of any transparency about what is actually going on is infuriating. 3 months of waiting, it can’t still just be “sitting in the printing queue”...

I received an email from IRCC this morning asking me to complete a 20minute survey on my experiences of dealing with IRCC during Covid-19!! If they pulled people off the "survey team" and actually had them processing applications then we'd all be a lot happier. What a waste of resources!! Feel...
