    Only for provincial employees though not federal.

    You will most likely get another chance but who knows how long you need to wait.

    thats correct. fingerprints results do expire after 1 year. Hence, the reason they ask for another set of fingerprints results. fingerprints need to be valid until you become a citizen i believe.

    It does change to in progress. Once IRCC receives new fingerprints and then it goes back to completed.
