    March 2020. Primary VO: Ottawa Secondary: London My upfront medical expired last year and requested to do a 2nd medical in September 2020. That also expired. No request for another so I assume the 2nd medical was extended.

    Every webform I send I just get the prioritizing Afghanistan excuse. It's now been over 2 months. At this stage you would expect them to have come up with a solution that addresses the Afghanistan situation without disregarding and ignoring everyone else.

    They'll either notify you that you need to complete another medical or it will revert back to "You've passed your medical exam." The officer reviewing your file will see the medical has expired and can send it to be reassessed by a medical officer. The medical officer will determine if you need...

    Returning to Canada doesn't guarantee you'll get it sooner, unfortunately. A few people have done it, and are still waiting months later. I guess IRCC doesn't want to set a precedent that entering Canada before they issue the documents will expedite things.

    March 2020. If 2021 applicants get it within 6-8 months they are within average pre-pandemic processing times for CEC. As for us 2019/2020 applicants... seems we have been forgotten about. lol

    Not necessarily. After downtime it often means nothing, especially if a widespread occurrence. :( If there's an interruption to the connection you'll see a GU too. You can recreate it yourself by clicking your application and reloading the account page before the application loads.
