My friend's entire family's application for citizenship was denied because they want fingerprints from the 10 year old girl. But IRCC says they can't get fingerprints from the RCMP for a minor that young. Why does IRCC want the prints and is there a way around this problem?

Well, it's been four years since this reply but perhaps you can still help. What if they request prints for a 10 year old but they say RCMP won't give or take prints for someone so young. But the application for the whole family is denied?

But they did, so they must have some logic behind their request.
