Extremely old! February 2019!

Hi. Any idea how long it generally takes to receive to DM or PPR after pre-arrival? Checked with my MP and they informed me that Background check was in process. We got the pre-arrival on March 1st and re-med passed March 10th. Complete silence since then.

My husband was asked to come for an interview on March 9th and on March 13th Canada closed down everything. His application is in LVO and nth is moving there, especially interviews. Does not appear to be any alternate to the interview right now.

Hi. Can someone tell me what ADR means and how do I apply for it? I see people on this forum talking about it. I applied for my husband in February 2019, last heard in March 2020, and silence since then!

That is such a relief, thank you so much. And in our case, when they haven't told us the reason of the intreview or what documents to carry along, should we just keep the application pack or any addition documents as well?

@legalfalcon thank you for your immediate reply, definitely helps. Is it a scary sign or sth to be worried of? Also he has been called in for an interview alone, nth regarding my presence was mentioned in the letter that we received. Also any tips of what to expect?

@legalfalcon wanted to ask in what circumstances can one be called in for an interview? Have applied for my husband's PR. We applied in February 2019, and passed the criminality already as per the GCMS notes.

My husband has also been called for an interview. We are going to take the option of going to London, however under the current COVID-19 situation we do not know how to proceed.

oh really, so they would want more proof of the marriage. Interesting, because the GCMS notes were very positive regarding the relation and the officer had written that the marriage appears to be genuine and have enough proof and pictures to see that. I just hope this process ends soon. Do you...

yes, i have been traveling home a lot, thrice in the year. and I don't think it has to do with eligibility, we have been married 5 years almost, and provided all the proof.

We did email them and they said its in process. Do you think it is a bad sign? What should we do, really stuck. Also we applied without a lawyer, so feel helpless.

Can I ask your date of application? And if it helps, at least you do not have to travel to UK for an interview.
