I applied with the same as IRCC said that IELTS should be valid on the date of application. As for visa, no movement in my file like many other October SDS applicants. Eligibility review start on January 6th and since then no update.

You need to update to IRCC if the gap is more than 150 days. "1/4 Hi. A deferral in start-date is between you and your DLI. It shouldn’t affect your study permit application, though if you defer your start-date by 150 days or more, you’ll need to send us a new acceptance letter from your DLI."...

No, it's just showing we are reviewing if you meet the eligibility requirements under review of eligibility.

I have replied to my timeline and I didn't receive any email about start of eligibility, just checked GC Key and it said we have started reviewing your eligibility

My IELTS will expire in 15 days, wanted to know if I can apply for visa (SDS) in these 15 days, before it expires? Or do I have to retake the test?

Oh! no I am missing that, it's just stuck on "Opening of your file" since March 4th. I did send the documents by mail and it was received as per the courier tracking update on March 7th but the status have not been updated.
