I know it's late, but I am replying here. Sorry for the delay. Bluedart will pickup your courier and deliver directly to Delhi VFS office and processed from there. Nothing to do with local VFS offices.

I tried something like visiting a browser history url (now I saved that link). It's strange really to see if I visit through new link it says no record. If I use old (history) link, it gives me status. Same URL.

So, it took 8 days ? when did you come to know about the passport status ? I have a new problem. The tracking ID given to me used to show 'status' till Friday. Today it says "No records found". And no response from VFS.

Does anyone sent for passport submission ? I find the VFS status updates and corresponding times totally weird. Their timestamps say that they are processing at 3am and 5 am, which is 'hard to believe'

They should have enabled a web request and automated pickup. Simply killing time and testing patience with regular mail based ticketing systems and 2 days TAT, too much unless it's 1 man army.

Received both, confirmation and instructions mail with 3 steps which starts with "Contact VFS at the following email ID to arrange the payment and pick up of your passport " But no one replying from that mail since last 5th November. You know clock is ticking..
