Congrats! Looks like they’ve started working on most spousal applications, especially the ones from Lebanon because my husband received his PPR request on Monday.

You don’t need to resubmit it. They will re-open your file and you’ll receive a email detailing documents (for the applicant specifically) that you need to fill out again. Check your gc-key whenever you can. I think it took them a week or so to reopen my husband’s file.

I heard canadian citizens and permanent residents are the only ones permitted to enter. Since your husband received his visa for permanent residence wouldn’t that apply to him?

When they requested documents, they gave me the Mississauga address so I would assume they’re processing the application over there atm. Also I had to check my gc-key for updates because I wasn’t receiving anything by email.

Congrats :) I actually got an update today in my gc-key and they requested the updated documents, biometric page of passport, and police certificate. Does anyone know if it’s alright to send in a scanned copy of the police certificate?

I got mine on January 28 from the minister’s council and then the decision letter on January 31. File then re-opened on Tuesday February 11.

In the same boat, file in Ottawa. Today I checked my gc-key though and I saw that they had re-opened our file. Currently processing it’s says but not too sure how long it’s going to take or when they’ll contact me with the next step.

If that’s the case then I would put the date of the Katb Kteb. That’s what I put the date of mine as.
