    oath email

Hello! I passed the citizenship test last friday. Do I have any chance to take the oath and apply to the passport before the end of year? My application (family on paper) was processed on May 31st 2023 and I've got the invitation to do the test 2 weeks ago. It was surprisingly fast though.

No, you will receive by mail in 1-2 weeks and then you will have to upload it into your IRCC page.

    IELTS exam for Citizenship

Hi there! My wife will take the IELTS for the citizenship process. However, she only needs to reach 4,5 in the listening part and 4 in the speaking part, apparently. my question is: does she need to take the reading and writing parts? Or is there a specific IELTS exam for citizenship with just...

I also sent my CoPR letter along with a photo for my PR card on Friday 23th. It is still early but I was wondering if IRCC will send any sort of acknowledgment of receipt at some point.

It was an unknown number. It was a bit suspicious to be honest but she just asked silly questions and said that the CopR email would take around 2 weeks. I received 24 hours later the CoPR letter through the IRCC portal and few days later by email.

If I were you I'd call IRCC. They will ask your application number and personal information. It is the best way to fix everything with your application. Calling IRCC on regular basis is much better than any immigration lawyer support.

I received my copr last Thursday through the immigration portal and by email (in pdf). One day before someone from immigration called me asking some silly questions (“when was your first and last entry in Canada”). Yesterday they updated the portal with a message with the same pdf, which is the...

Direct CoPR without PPR in CIC Account

Is there any message on IRCC website about this CoPR without PPR for inland applicants? I was told over the phone by IRCC that my eligibility is now passed although it is not shown in the portal. Would you know if my CoPR is still too far away? My expected completion date is Nov 6th. Thanks

Good morning. I called IRCC yesterday and I was told that my eligibility was now passed (she told me the decision had been made few hours before my call). She also said that in 24h the IRCC portal would be updated. I believe that, based on this forum, IRCC do not change the eligibility status...

    biometrics

I ordered almost 3 weeks ago but I am still awaiting. I was under the impression that the eligibility would show 'passed' 1-2 months before the final decision. I heard about the criminality status. it will only change along with the final decision one.

OMG! You have been waiting for PPR since April2020. It is hard. Are you an inland CEC candidate? The IRCC officer told me over the phone to not trust anymore in the progress bar. I hope to receive before the end of the year but I am not sure it is realistic anymore. Good luck with your process!
