Not even once! The policy to include biometrics with all applications for inland applicants came into effect on Dec 2019! I had everything applied and extended before that!

Thanks buddy! Mine was not EE! It was PNP paper based and I never gave biometrics to CIC for any of my applications with them. I applied for my permanent residence before that rule came into effect for inland applicants! Sorry!

I sent only one email replying back to the initial portal email, explaining about my work permit expiry! I didn’t get any reply from them, instead, got my eCoPR the next day! I’m quite not sure if it helped for me to get the confirmation!

If you get the portal email when you are outside Canada, let them know where you are by replying to the same email. They will ask you to let them know when you are inside Canada. You just need to reply back to the same email! I did the same!

If they needed the Canadian PCC, they would have already requested from you before making a decision on your application!

I did twice! I sent the second email in the morning and got the reply from them around the evening!
