I'm on closed Work permit working in Canada, due to some personal reason I need to travel to India for 3 week duration and be back. Do i need to get authorization letter ? IRCC site says work permit holders are exempted from travel restrictions.

Recently i'm not sure but during August month few of my friends received within 10 - 15 days.

I submitted in the letter in Aug 10th and received update on Sep 20th.

Thanks scylla. She is on TRV. Earlier her Open work permit was rejected so we had to apply for the Visitor Visa. Any idea how much time it will take if we start with SWOP process again in these times ?

my job skill is type A . Role is technology Analyst. Any idea What is the current processing time for visitor visa ? in the CIC site it says 11 days but I see people waiting for more than a month.

In the employment letter we did not mention about my NOC but it had my role and NOC was mentioned in the invitation letter to CIC. Thanks for the advise.
