Hi, I also applied for BOWP and received a letter after three days, saying they received it and I can continue to work until July 2021 or until the final result of my application has been decided. Is that the permit already, or am I expected a permit like the open work permit?

I see. Well, your friend is lucky. I think IRCC does not prioritize applications from the 1st quarter of 2020 anymore. For them, it's just a backlog and just want to process recent applications. :( Hoping to get a good news soon. In the meantime, I also applied for bridging work permit, and...

Yeah, but it's unfair because a lot of other applications are getting processed but applicants between Jan to April are stuck.

Thanks for the tip, I was able to resubmit my biometrics again. Sadly, the biometrics staff informed me that the biometrics is still not in the best quality, but she said she will leave a note to IRCC saying this is the second time I had my biometrics. To be honest, I don't know what to do anymore.

No problem. It says assessment required, and info: in progress. I looked further below, and the status of biometrics is poor quality.

Hi. No information such as received. My biometrics section only provided the enrolment date and validity date.

Are you inland or outland applicant? I would want to re-submit my biometrics, but they might require us to have a letter of instructions. :(
