yes. weird right? I've gotten my biometrics last year but i received a confirmation email about my biometrics, stating that it's still valid for 10 more years. i guess they just checked and confirmed.

Hello, I also sent mine around January 29th. May I know if you've already received your amended permit and how long you waited to receive it?? I just received my biometric email today. Unfortunately, they won't reply. You'll only receive correspondence via mail
