I missed a few tech draws already for having a higher score than the cutoff. Ironically, I might miss the next ones for being below the cutoff…

Pre-ITA here, 472 and my IELTS expires in mid-January. I just want to see how much scores will drop from one draw to another and see if I have a real shot of getting an ITA by then.

Memo says draws will be conducted every two weeks and be consistent with pre-pandemic figures. Does it mean we can expect roughly 7000 ITAs/month? ~3,500 per draw?

Proof of Funds for two/three-year programs

Hi! My wife is looking at options for two/three-year diplomas in Toronto (I'd request an OWP) but after reading IRCC's page about proof of funds for study permits I still don't understand if they require cost of living + tuition fees for all years of study or only for the first year. To get a...

Hey people quick question about PNP & IELTS validity: what happens if I get a nomination from a province with my still valid IELTS scores but they expire before I get an ITA with the +600 pts? Would I have to redo IELTS anyway? Would I lose my nomination if the scores changed?

Hi y'all! I recently moved to Germany but I created my profile when I was still in Brazil - I'm waiting to see if I get an invitation with my not-so-great 472 CRS score before January 2023 when my IELTS expire. Do I have to do anything else on my profile other than changing my country of...

Yeah I know, I just thought it was originally meant for those who had actually applied (i.e. post ITA) because I had never received it.

Anyone else received the “we’re still working on your application” email today? I thought I’d never receive it cause I’m pre-ITA.

Hey guys, I think I'm on my way to securing an LMIA from a Canadian company while I'm in the pool with a 472 CRS score. - What are the best ways to use an LMIA for a PR? I can use it to boost my CRS score for FSW right? Is the OINP job offer stream a better move? - Do any of you know what has...

Germany is the most accessible country in Europe as far as I know. I was able to get multiple interviews applying for positions there last month while two years of applying for positions based in Canada only got me a single interview, and that was before the pandemic. If you can't get there...

So... could they be waiting for the new NOC system rollout to resume FSW? They first released that note on November 2020 and last FSW draw was in December. Ugh now I gotta wait and see if my NOC will still be considered 'skilled'. If things couldn't get any worse.

Wow I had no idea of that. Was this really released last year? It says it was modified on 2020-11-05 but I have no memory of ever reading this back then.

Yeah I give up. I'll leave my profile active until my IELTS expires and move on, try a move to Europe. If it happens, it happens. So much trouble getting a 472 score for nothing. It's mentally exhausting.

    Ray of hope - FSW - 1

I agree with what someone said above about the pool being probably dried. I believe they'll eventually run out of CEC applicants above 350 and they'll either have to do another crazy, low score draw or resume FSW. Maybe this will coincide with the easing of restrictions and a better vaccination...

    Ray of hope - FSW - 1

My score is 472 but without my spouse's IELTS exam it actually goes down to 452, which is not high enough for current Tech Draws: "The OINP targeted candidates with a comprehensive ranking system score between 456 and 467". So I'm either above or below OINP target scores. Anyway this last CEC...

    Ray of hope - FSW - 1

I'm in the same boat. I'm at 472 and the OINP cutoff has been 467. My score will be valid until January 2023 (when our IELTS exams expire) and I will only reach 30 in 2024. What I'm hoping is FSW draws will resume later this year with a higher score (490-ish?) and I'll receive a provincial...
