That was exactly my thoughts!! They're prioritising healthcare workers who apply for work permits, but why on earth would I go through that process which would require yet another medical and my employer to get an LMIA when my PR visa is complete, it makes no sense!

Bless you thanks, i've got the MP in the area i'm moving to in Canada on it now too, he's going to reach out to IRCC on my behalf to see if he can get things moving. I know our application is in Sydney so hopefully we'll hear something!

My application is at CIO in Sydney. I really can't understand why they're not working because there have been zero cases reported in NS for weeks. It just doesn't make any sense!
