Yes but i am still a student so when i will apply for the work permit would there be any adverse effect due to an extra semester

I have a course that i failed during my 2nd semester and thinking of doing it this summer after finishing my all 4 semester so, due to this there will be an extra part time semester so will it affect in any way to my post graduation work permit
