Implied status starts the date that it arrives at the immigration office. Unless it is returned due to a silly mistake...

Be honest now. It's up to them if they consider it misrepresentation, personally i doubt they will, but the fact you've come clean before they've discovered it themselves will really really help your cause.

Thankyou - so just to clarify i have entered an OWP application along with spousal sponsorship app, so i can continue working even if my IEC visa runs out and i haven't got my new OWP through yet?
