    Waiting for PR card

Hey everyone, once you mail your COPR and photos to your local VO, is there anything you can do to track it? Or you just wait to receive your PR card in the mail whenever it comes? Any insight into the Vancouver office regarding PR card issuance would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you!

Full time work after study but before applying PGWP

I also got my PR, to give you more piece of mind :) I had 2 weeks of unauthorized work after graduating and before PGWP application. I totally thought this was allowed during the time; I think there are a lot of cases like this. I submitted an LOE explaining that and apologizing for this...

Yes, they extended my medicals on Aug 31st, the same day they made the final decision on my file....so just over 6 months ago :( hopefully you hear back much quicker than that!

You can either send a webform or give them a call if you can pass through. Do you know if your file has been approved? They made the final decision on my file in August and it's been sitting there for the past 6 months waiting for them to generate COPR. I explained that to them and the agent was...

JUST GOT MY COPR! I had to re-read the letter multiple times because my body couldn't believe it was real hahaha! If you are in Inland CEC from Dec, and your file has been approved and waiting for COPR for the past few months, I suggest sending an enquiry! Sending you alllll the best as you...

Apparently, it's because Ottawa is in COVID-19 red zone so offices are operating with very limited staff still. My application is also sitting there...

I just spoke to an agent over the phone to see if there is any new info....reply was same as always although she did say my file has now been closed ( after being approved on Aug 31st). Not sure how it can be closed when I haven't received COPR yet...she said to wait for a while longer to...

I think they send this out automatically near the 6 month time, 1 year time, 1.5 year time....etc It would make sense why a lot of us in Dec would receive this email now.

What happens if BOWP expires before COPR

Hey everyone, what happens if your BOWP is nearing expiry and you haven't received COPR yet? Is there such a thing as re-applying for/extending BOWP? or do you change your status to a visitor? Has anyone ever experienced this? With COVID cases increasing across Canada, I'm expecting PR...

It depends on how you look at it haha positive - at least an officer has picked up your file and is working on it! Your file is progressing! not so positive - you have to pay again to do your re-medical -__- the most ideal situation is for them to extend it but if you are outland, I think it's...

Ohh sorry, I was assuming you were inland! For outland applicants, I don't think this is very surprising, unfortunately. They just started issuing PPRs to outland since COVID lockdown, so I'm hopeful you will hear some updates soon.

oh yeah, that particular stage is solely a waiting game. There's not much you can do about that :( Perhaps, you can try reaching out to your MP, mayor or something like that to get them to enquire about your case on your behalf? That's so frustrating, @baarsaam. Good luck!

Oh my! That'd be super frustrating!! Did you order GCMS to see at which stage you are in?
