hey have you heard anything after DM on ECAS?

Someone on here said gov't is working from home...which I sincerely hope is right and I hope they are being paid well for their efforts. Sure immigration in general maybe not so much, but reuniting Canadians with their spouses should *absolutely* be considered "essential / critical" during this...

Guys, does medical get approved the same day the panel physician sends it in? In other words is there ever a "received" status before "you passed the medical exam?" Or does it just jump straight from requested to approved? Thanks.

Quick question: I see pretty much everyone gets "biometrics approved" the same day that they're given...is this an email? Does it really come the very same day?

For those who have gotten SA, does ECAS show anything for that step when it goes through? (I don't mean GCkey, I'm sure that would say something).

ECAS has no mention of a correspondence (biometric request) that was emailed >1 week ago, and cannot link to GCKey. Anyone heard of a delayed update like this? Concerned!!!

yeah exactly. And just BIL, no medical or SA. At first I thought BIL was a good sign coming less than a couple weeks after AOR but now the timeline seems weird :(

How strange is it for ECAS to not update/show a correspondence (BIL) from a week ago? Should I be concerned?

"Highest level of education" on Generic Application 0008 form: Doctorate - PhD on the dropdown is the only option under doctorate. Instructions says PhD "usually 3 years plus a thesis." For clinical doctors (MD/DO/DMD/OD etc.), yes 3+ years after masters but definitely no thesis and no PhD...
