Submitted May 18. LPP on Oct 18. Since then one ghost update. When I call, says security and prohibition not completed. is it normal to take that long?

I recently had my interview. The officer said everything else looks fine and I should wait for my background check to complete. My LPP was checked completed. I applied in May. Any one has idea how long Background typically takes or anyone has had any experience as mine?
