When I got mine I had to mail the passport to the VAC in Santo Domingo along with some other documents they requested. I personally used DHL to mail it to Santo Domingo and they are using UPS to send it back,

I also sent it with VFS global. It got to Mexico really quick, I think ours will be sent back at the same time since we have the same timeline. Both our applications are from April 2019

My medical was due to expire on June 8th, I was wondering if we had to redo it. I logged in to gckey today and they updated the date of my medical, it says: July 06, 2020 you passed the medical exam. Apparently they extended it

Just came out my interview, the ladie was nice and had minimum concerns of the application. She told me was going to comunicate with me within one or two weeks. I hope that's a good sign
