I am facing this situation. I was in Bahrain for 9 months. What should I do while submitting ITA. This rule change is not mentioned in any websites, but when I called Bahrain Embassy in india, they said the same thing. But I don't have any written proofs. Really confused now.

Yes you can. After you get financial stability in Canada, you can sponsor your wife. You can do it after 6 months of you reaching Canada. But you have to mention that you are married and your wife is not accompanying you. They might ask you for a clarification for y your wife is not travelling...

Yup. I got ITA today.

I believe you can update your information while submitting ur application after ITA. You can update any information that doesn't affect your CRS.
