Manitoba PNP - Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) - REGIONAL - LA SALLE

It is not the ideal way to go about getting the 50 points, there is a good chance you will have an issue. The rules state: "The applicant has clearly demonstrated that they have an established connection to their destination outside of Winnipeg through existing family or social ties." It...

    Manitoba PNP Regional Immigration Points

I moved to Morden last year and can attest to it being a great place to live. You should ignore Morden's immigration page as it is a separate program completely. I agree with Naturgrl, the rules clearly state that to be able to claim those 50 points you need family or social connections in the...

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

Sorry but you can't check on your application. If I remember correctly the program coordinator will wait for enough applications to come in and will shortlist the best. I think she will then give an interview via Skype to the shortlisted applicants. The applications then get run past a...

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

I really wouldn't do that, it could just put you to the back of the queue. Have you contacted IRCTC by webform and explained how long you have waited and why the visit is needed? If you have what was the reply?

It's no problem, I just wish I could be of more help. I know how frustrating the wait can be.

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

I'm sorry but I have no information on this. I know families have arrived to settle but I haven't heard anything about exploratory visits. You would be best reaching out to the program coordinator. I am surprised that you are still waiting.

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

Hi JohnLe, a lot of the companies around here employ welders and there is still a big need for them. I think it would still be very easy to get a job as a welder around here. You can still apply to the program if your job is not on the target occupation list and in my opinion because you are a...

MPNP - How do successful SWO applicants score more than the maximum possible to get invites?

When I applied through the MPNP SWO program we received an invitation under a Strategic Initiative, it added an extra 500 points to our score. This could also be what you are missing.

I don't believe there will be any alternative to the visit visa, but you could always contact Shelly for advice and to let her know your current situation.

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

I don't believe so currently. I seem to remember that in the past if you spoke french it would be counted the same as being on the skilled occupation list. They will accept language tests in French instead of English I think. If you have proficiency in French I'm sure it would help with your...

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

I guess so. I'm not sure express entry funds matter at this stage, you have to prove that later.

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

Proof of funds is required, I believe you have to show the amount of funds required by the MPNP: 'All applicants should have CAD $10,000 plus CAD $2,000 for spouse and each accompanying dependant.'

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

I would think there is reasonable demand for those with accounts and payroll experience. I have seen a number of jobs advertised for this. I think theres a section on how you think Morden meets your needs. I believe this is quite important, they want to know that the area is what you are looking...

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

When I originally applied my occupation 'carpenter' was on the in-demand list. This occupation is no longer on the list. I know of others who have applied who's occupations were never on the list. There is such a shortage of workers here that the list seems to just be a preference and it changes...

    EVERYTHING ABOUT MORDEN 2016

Hi, In my experience the Morden immigration team only offers a limited amount of help, you need to be prepared to do most of the work yourself. I believe that Morden is a good place to live and we are loving living here so far. It is a safe place to live and there are loads of jobs, if it's a...

The first time I got my COPR after only a few days also. Second time around it took just over 3 weeks. Nothing to be concerned about :)
