No Ghost Update (GU) on the tracker but I FINALLY got the email ("NOTICE TO APPEAR - Ceremony") for an in-person ceremony at Mississauga, ON on Sept 15.

    June 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

Congrats! I passed the test almost two months after you but got LPP completed a month before you and had no update since then. I really don't understand why after LPP is complete it's not on a FIFO basis. Can you share your processing office?

I got LPP on May 12 and nothing since then. How long have you all waited before receiving the ceremony invite email?

You're almost there! You can't compare your application with others. Not the same background, not the same travel history, perhaps not the same type of application (paper/online/family/solo) and so on and so forth. It's frustrating but we're all in the same ship. As for the taxes, I'm sure...

If you got your PR before the BOWP, yes, the fees are refundable (minus the biometrics fees related to the BOWP).

Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) under express entry - connect here

What work permit do you have right now? If you have a work permit that allows you to work for any employer, you have to select "Apply work permit for the first time or with a new employer" If not you have to select "Apply for a work permit with the same employer".

Refund bridging open work permit (BOWP) / bridge visa fees

Landing means going through a custom office at the border. In my case, as I was already in Canada as well, I had to drive to the nearest border to go to the U.S and ask the US agent to "flagpole" which means not entering the US and going back to Canada. There I was able to "land" or to activate...

Looking for advice on BOWP and SOWP after IECs (applied for PR as couple)

None. I just added the end date of my previous job and then listed the new one but I didn't send any additional letter of employment that I didn't send with the PR. The experience of those jobs didn't help with my PR application (my experience abroad was enough). But it doesn't hurt to clarify...

Looking for advice on BOWP and SOWP after IECs (applied for PR as couple)

Hi, As long as it doesn't impact your CRS score you can list the two jobs. Just say he was working Job A from X to Y and now he's working Job B which is the same NOC. I also started a new job after sending the PR as the main applicant and I believe I listed the new job and the previous one as...

Honestly, I like the new one better. You still have the maple leaf and the gooses but the addition of the Peace Tower is a nice touch. The card looks way better in hand vs the sample example. Thank you! Yes, it's a huge relief after almost two years of procedure. :)
