Oh I had specific instructions that if the applicant is currently in Canada, then the passport must be sent to CPC Ottawa. Then sending to Ottawa might not be right for you.

I had the same issue. I had applied from my home country India, and did not receive any replies from them for my queries. That is why I decided to mail the passport to the CPC ottawa office as suggested in my passport request letter

No, it was just a long wait after my passport was sent back. I would suggest you to call IRCC and speak to an agent.

Hi, I was in the same situation. I sent the passport to Ottawa CPC as instructed in my passport request letter. They sent back my passport without any stamping with a letter saying I will receive an email for next steps. About 3-4 weeks after, I got the email about the portal.

Hi! My case is very complicated. I applied as a FSW outside Canada. AOR - July 2019 But I entered Canada as a visitor in December 2019. So once my PR was approved, since I was already in Canada, the landing steps were like inland for me.

I got my PR card Here is my timeline Nov 7, 2020 - PR application approved Jan 5, 2021 - received email asking for UCI, date of entry and application number; replied immediately Jan 6 - received credentials for portal Feb 11 - got CoPR on the portal March 21 - Ghost update on IRCC...

Scotiabank. I think it depends on the bank officer you are dealing with.

I called IRCC and the agent confirmed that the COPR is still valid. But bank wasn’t okay, even with my new SIN number ‍ :(

I know but the bank isn’t agreeing. They aren’t accepting my CoPR. Also I need to travel out of Canada

I received my COPR on Feb 9 in the portal. It expired on 28th Feb, so need PR card urgently! I got a ghost update on my account today, any idea what this means? Can I expect PR card soon

Not sure if you were already able to link it. I had the issue too. In my case , I was entering the place of birth incorrectly. On my Co-PR, the place of birth is truncated Eg - “PARIS, FR” but I had to enter the full string “PARIS, FRANCE” to link the application.

Hi Everyone! I received my eCoPR on 11th February (VO - Etobicoke). My address is shown as "Approved" in portal but photo is still showing "Under review". Is it the same for anyone else here ? Folks who received their PR card - How did you know it was dispatched?
