Finally got my PR card this week. Pics were sent back in June 2020 originally. I got an update in Jan to say I needed to send new ones as the originals were not sufficient. I was able to scan and email the pictures. PR card was issued February 2, 2021 and received in the mail February 10, 2021

Yeah I was starting to think that we'd never hear anything from them!

I received a reply from the Edmonton office today - I mailed my photos June 2020 I have to submit new photos as they others didn't meet the requirements. They have advised that I can email digital photos - has anyone else done this? Do I get them taken the same as before and then scan them?

I mailed everything to Edmonton in June and I still haven’t heard anything!

I got a ghost update on Friday 29 May, so i'm guessing thats when it was changed to passed.

Got a GU this morning. The last thing pending on my application was security so I'm assuming this has been updated from Not Initiated. Hopefully not long now until I get the golden email :)

From what I've seen most people are in the same boat. COVID has slowed things down. You can always raise a webform for updated info. I think I've also read that your account will show "we are processing your background check" right up until you PR has been issued. I may be wrong on that though...

Looks like a lot of us are in the same boat with AOR's in December and just waiting for the security to be completed and with Sydney office. Hopefully with provinces starting to reopen we'll soon see some approvals coming through. My AOR is 18.12.2019

I don't know what an IRDA licence is. I provided a copy of my Level One General Insurance Agent license.

Yeah I'm pretty happy with that! Definitely happened a lot quicker than I expected. I got my ITA on November 27. I have my medical tomorrow so I should be good to submit by Wednesday/Thursday of this week!
