Sorry for the confusion. I haven't done any re-medical. But My wife's medical got passed on the same day of submission. Like it was submitted at day time but when I checked it in the evening the status was changed to Medical passed.

Yes, local MP's office is in contact with them for last 6 months. MP's office does not know what they are talking about that is why I am not hoping anything from them.

Hello Akilot, you need to call IRCC and the agent will leave a note to Visa officer to add your wife. In my case I have called them several times and then they added my wife although I have sent her documents months ago.

That's a very good sign, I have seen people who got PPR within week or 2 after their re-meds got passed.

Not at all, it might send an alert to the officer to look in to your file.

Sure I will do that. You can ask for the current status, I am sure they won't give you much information. GCMS notes would give you an overall status of application.
